Please support our restoration appeals. Both are tax deductible.
There are a number of ways we would love for you to partner with us. Please consider how you can be generous and sacrificial in your attitude towards church.
Pray
Spend time praying for the church and the ministries that the parish is involved in. Without God, the ministry in the Cudgegong Valley would grind to a halt. Pray that God would continue to be at work in and through his people.
Plan
The bible says in 2 Cor 9:7 that God doesn't want us to give reluctantly or under compulsion - so make a plan and decide in your heart what you will give, whether this be financial, or giving of your time. The amount doesn't matter, your giving doesn't have to look the same as someone else! Giving generously what you can, out of what he's generously given you.
Serve
Consider giving of your time to serve God and His people in the church. This might look like being involved in church on Sunday, or volunteering in a weekday ministry. Speak to a member of the ministry team to talk about how you might get involved!
Give
Giving financially to the ministry of the church is an act of worship! One of the primary ways we serve God is by cheerfully giving. This can be done by putting cash in the offering plate during church on Sunday, or by direct deposit, details below:
Bank: Beyond Bank
Account name: Anglican Parish Cudgegong Valley
BSB: 325-185 A/c No. 74044540
The value of our offering is not determined by how much we give, but how we give. Mk 12:41-44
Believers are called to give out of a heart of thanksgiving to God, and not out of legalistic obligation. 2 Cor 9:7 | Pro 3:9
In addition, there are three special tax-deductible appeals in which you might consider giving, especially as we approach the end of the financial year:
St Luke's Gulgong Restoration National Trust Appeal
In November, the St Luke's church building will mark its 150th Anniversary. In order to preserve the building and enable another 150 years of Sharing Jesus for Life in Gulgong, the church requires some restoration work, primarily on the roof. To make a tax-deductible donation to the St Luke's National Trust Appeal, see:
